Phase 2 Non-ADHD entails being in tune with your child's sleep behaviors and completing a brief, five minute survey online across four days (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday):
an initiative HU's Psychology Department started to learn more about ADHD's impact on sleep quality/sleep quantity of both child and caretaker, in relation to the child's medication status. We also compare the experiences of these children to youth who do not have an ADHD diagnosis. Online questionnaires are utilized so that participants nationwide can join in. Our ultimate goal is to help improve quality of life for families dealing with ADHD.
One thing is for certain: parental distress can impact not only your child's sleep quality and sleep quantity but both of these aspects of your sleep as well. Effective stress management is a critical component to improving your family's quality of life.
